Becky & Co. {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I've always been a big family person. I love when I get to spend some time photographing fun families! It was certainly a privilege to capture Becky's family while her husband and son were home and before her mother-in-law took off for the beach! I'm still jealous that she's getting to spend some time in with her {toes} in the sand, by the way :D

Take pride in how far you have come. Have faith in how far you will go.
The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another’s desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
I found this link flow through my Facebook feed. I just love seeing the progression of the 4 sisters over the years. We don't always pose the same way but I do try to get my family together to do photos as often as I can.
Not only do I get to watch my own family grow and change but I get to watch my clients families do the same. That's one of my favorite things about being a photographer. Do you take photos more than once every few years?

Katherine {Tulsa Family Photographer}
If there's one thing I love more than little people, it's little old people. They are so stinking cute (most of the time haha)! And Katherine's parents were no exception. I suppose they remind me of my grandparents and the tight family bond I've always had with them. It's so nice to be able to capture that for other families too :)

Mike {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I had a great shoot with Mike and his family. They picked out a very nice spot that was beautiful, quiet and had a bunch of ducks & geese that were willing to help us out :D They were such troopers for enduring the chilly and overcast day!

Matt {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I love when my clients refer people to me! It's the biggest compliment I can get. I was excited to meet Matt's family, they were referred to me from some of my favorite families. I really enjoyed photographing them but I had to ask them at one point if they had given the kids sedatives :D They were so incredibly well behaved and had their smiles ready for the camera at all times. I just didn't know what to do with not having to bribe them ;)

Stephanie {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I love big families! That's probably because I am an only child though :D It was fun to watch all of Stephanie's kiddos interact with each other. When I walked up to meet them and saw the kids playing a game of chase, I knew I was in for a fun session!

Jane {Tulsa Family Photographer}
Tulsa isn't exactly a giant city. We only have around 400,000 people. It's not exactly a "small town" either. So, it can be fun to run into people you've become somewhat acquainted with in random situations. Like the nurses that take care of your grandpa when he was in ICU and you spend 2 weeks sleeping on the tiny couch next to him.
That was the case with Jane. She was one of the few nurses that left a lasting impression on me because she was really nice and she took good care of the one guy that I looked up to most in the world. It cracked me up when I went to meet a new client for a session and it just happened to be Jane!
We certainly had our work cut out for us after waking her son up from a nap to do photos. Like any little person, he wasn't entirely sure he was down with our plan but we accidentally got some good shots in, without him realizing it :)

Cindy {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I had so much fun with Cindy's family! They reminded me a lot of my own big, crazy family. We wandered all around the park and even found out that the sprinklers go off in the late afternoon. Grandpa was a trooper when he got attacked by said sprinkler too :D
Mike {Broken Arrow Family Photographer}
I've known Mike and his family for over a decade and let me tell you nothing is cuter than seeing his granddaughter, little Hadley, take over and rule their world! I'm pretty sure she knows she rules the roost too :)
Lindsay {Tulsa Family Photographer}
The last session I did with Lindsay and her kiddos was a special one. She incorporated something special into this session as well. Her kiddos made special survival bracelets to honor their baby brother that they lost early in Lindsay's pregnancy. Baby William's tiny bracelet is the cutest little thing I've ever seen! I thought this image was a good one to share for the Sneak Peek because it's my favorite of the shoot.

Reda {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I think we caught just about the last bit of fall color before the leaves all fell to the ground during Reda's session. I love fall because of the colors and the brisk air but it makes me sad when al the leaves blow away to leave behind bare trees.

Alicia {Tulsa Family Photographer}
Cutest. Family. Ever. Ok, well this is actually 3/4 of the cutest family ever because Alicia's husband couldn't be with us the day of our session, unfortunately. I always have so much fun with Alicia and her family. They'll be moving out of state soon and I'm pretty sure I'll just have to talk her into getting enough clients around their new hometown so I can come visit! :D
Sarah {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I haven't met a kiddo that I can't coax into at least a few photos of them actually looking toward the photos. Some are just a little more elusive than others. In extreme cases, and with a fair warning from Mom that we would have to work around some serious shyness, fruit snack bribes are a necessity. Luckily, they totally worked too :)

Erica {Tulsa Family Photographer}
Being an "On Location" photographer can sometimes lead to improvising. That's what we did with Erica's family when the weather just wouldn't cooperate for our scheduled session in downtown. We decided to let the kids play at home instead and work out our more formal family session later. The kiddos sure had a blast with my box of goodies and I had so much fun watching them play with the boas and mustaches in our make shift photo booth :)

Amy {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I really enjoyed meeting Amy and her sweet family. They were super easy to work with and we had so much fun. We started out downtown and ended up at the park. I'm looking forward to working with them more in the future and exploring some new locations with them :)

Haley {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I adore Haley and her family, they are all so laid back and they make our sessions stress free for me. We had a lot of fun playing downtown with the kiddos! I look forward to watching them continue to grow up!

Ange {Tulsa Family Photography}
As much as I love little people, I cannot imaging keeping up with a whole gaggle of them. Ange keeps up with all but 2 of these crazy kiddos. I'm pretty sure she deserves a medal. Or maybe a drink! :D

Breanna {Tulsa Children's Photographer}
My sessions with Breanna are always fun. The first session included a squirrel coming up to her mom to see if she had any food. It was the closest I've ever seen a squirrel come up to anyone! That was a couple years ago. Photos at the park this year were much more entertaining with this tiny 35 year old that is trapped in a toddler's body :D She's SUCH a little character and I really enjoyed seeing how her personality is shining through!

Britni's babes {Tulsa Family Photographer}
I'm pretty sure Noel does this EVERY time see she's me coming! She knows it's time to put on her serious face and try her hardest not to smile for me. I manage to catch a few here and there, without her realizing it though :D
Sweet Evi, on the other hand, doesn't realize what this whole photo shoot gig is all about yet. I think Noel tried to explain the program to her but she quickly forgot and we wound up with some really great smiles out of her!
I can't believe Britni's babes are 1 & 2 already! Noel was just itty bitty when I first met them and now both girls are on the move :)

Baby Quinn, 3 months {Tulsa family photographer}
I can't believe how quickly 3 months has flown by! I am sure Miss Quinn's mommy feels the same way. She's got her hands full with this sweet princess and her big brother. Davis has seemed to take a liking to her though, in spite of the "Baby sister for sale" sign he promoted during our last shoot :D
