You simply cannot understand how hard going thru deployment is unless you've undergone one. I'd say it's probably even harder for Miss Joanna. She is a Veteran herself and has been on the other side of the phone before. On the day of our shoot, she hadn't heard from her honey in a few days. Luckily, a message from him popped up right after we began. In situations like this, we go with it..... ;)

Distance does to love what wind does to fire; it extinguishes the weak and feeds the strong.

Miss Joanna
I first met Miss Joanna about 3 months ago, just before her husband deployed. I was excited when she recruited some of her Army wife friends and asked me to come back to Ft Riley to take more photos! She is so sweet, quite possibly my most enthusiastic cheerleader and she has an awesome personality! I am so lucky to get to meet such great people like Joanna :)Joanna, I hope your husband enjoys the new pics and I can't wait for him to come home so that I can do another shoot for you guys. In the mean time, I'm looking forward to our next shoot. I'm sure it will be lots of fun, as always!
